Aruna
My love for flavorful food has been a lifelong journey. When I was diagnosed with fibroids and faced the possibility of surgery, I turned to Ayurveda. Through mindful cooking, fresh organic food, and lifestyle changes, I healed naturallyโwithout medical intervention.
This experience awakened a deeper purpose: to inspire others, especially the next generation, to nourish themselves and the earth by supporting sustainable, organic farming. When my best friend Sriโwho shares these same valuesโsuggested we create something together, I immediately said yes. Thatโs how Prana Kitchens was born.

Meghan
My life as a farmer began over 20 years ago, rooted in a deep respect for the natural world and an early fascination with medicinal and useful plants. Guided by the belief that fresh, seasonal food is a form of medicine, my work is an expression of reverenceโfor plants, for the land, and for the nourishment they offer.
One of my most essential roles at Kaluna is building soil. Tending the soil is not only the foundation for healthy crops, but a spiritual and ecological commitment to future generations. Over the years, plants have been some of my greatest teachers, and I continue to learn from them dailyโthrough observation, relationship, and care.
