Kaluna Farm Retreat's Farm House is the original pioneer cabin that connects us to a rich history of plant people on this land. This cabin has been renovated to accommodate modern comforts while preserving the antiquity and raw beauty of the original structure. The Farm House boards and logs speak of seven generations of homesteaders who have made this their home.
Sitting across from the spring fed creek, the Farm House has a lush yard filled with herbs and bamboo. Enjoy the view of the gardens fromone of the covered porches while sipping your coffee or farm fresh tea. Immerse yourself into the beauty of the farm that surrounds this cabin. It is truly a magical and relaxing experience.
The Farm House has a large kitchen that easily seats 10+. Plan ahead with our farm crew, and you can cook up farm fresh meals while enjoying the seasonal flavors from our gardens. The kitchen has a nice sitting porch and access to anoutdoor grill and fire pit by the creek.
The old log room has a queen size bed and two twin beds. The upstair bedroomhas four additional twin beds. There are alsotwotwin pulloutbeds in the living room.
Come explore our 92-acre farm, or the 212-acre Talking Rock Nature Park next door. We are a good starting spot to hike the North Georgia mountains or explore the mountain towns of Ellijay, Jasper, and Blue Ridge.

If you thinking about it....Just BOOK IT!
A group of friends of mine wanted to find somewhere that we can communion together. We wanted to find a space that was open free and simply just a feel for Home. Kaluna Farms exceeded our expectations. Not only did we have an amazing open space to sleep, we also were able to learn about the land. If you're looking for a solo trip, couples trip, corporate trip, friends, trip, or simply just a trip this is the place for you. BTW, if you are a constant creator , this is the most aesthetic place for nature.
Perfect Retreat!
Aww man, what a memorable and much needed stay! The Farmhouse felt so warm and so sweet for our group. It was the perfect size for an intimate stay where we were able to gather our large group around the dinner table, and bond in the living room. I appreciated the space of the bathroom, very roomy, very private. I loved the privacy of the back patio. I got to get a good meditation in there hidden in the bamboo. The hosts are very sweet, and you can tell they love to share such a beautiful space with people. Will definitely be back!
Incredibly Inviting, A Cozy Home Away From Home
I was so very impressed with the overall experience. The cabin itself was very well kept, and readily accommodated our group with much of everything we needed. As one who works remotely, I had a few things I needed to take care of while there and was very happy to know they had fast & reliable Wi-Fi. The bathroom shocked me — I was not expecting it to be so spacious! You can tell how much work was put into its construction because even the sound isolation was impeccable. Even with a lively group in the family room, I felt I could have a moment of silence & start meditating in there! Walking around the property was also very nice. It was a nice two days & the weather was great, so that was in our favor. THE TRAMPOLINE might have been my favorite surprise!! Really had a blast going at it on there & feeling like a kid again. We also had breakfast by the fire pit and overall I just had moments where I felt like staying there forever. WELLL DONE Kaluna Farms! 👏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾
Already Missing Kaluna!
The Farmhouse is such a homey, cozy space to stay in and I’m already missing it! We enjoyed the fact that all 8 of us could sleep comfortably here, as well as enjoy a family dinner together. Not to mention the bathroom is a really nice size and everything was so well kept. I’ve stayed here twice now and I look forward to coming back!
